Michael Rapkine joined Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman in
March of 2003. His practice focuses primarily on complex business
and securities litigation.
From 2003 through 2007, Mr. Rapkine was part of the legal
team that represented the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and negotiated
a settlement in the coordinated class action relating to clergy
misconduct. Previously, Mr. Rapkine was part of the team of
HBD attorneys that defended First Community Bancorp and its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Pacific Western National Bank.
Before joining HBD, Mr. Rapkine served as a summer intern
at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker's London office, where
he performed due diligence within their M&A division.
Prior to this, Mr. Rapkine worked at Diamond & Scharnberger,
a Los Angeles firm specializing in commercial litigation and
personal injury.
