Lawrence M. Hadley

Mr. Hadley is a partner with Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman LLP. His practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on cases involving the application of various legal doctrines to advanced technologies, including computer hardware and software. He has litigated patent infringement, copyright, trade secret, antitrust, unfair trade and licensing cases, including:

• Federal patent litigation involving disk drive technology;
• Federal patent and trade secret litigation involving television and electronic programming guide technology;
• Federal patent litigation involving microprocessor and various integrated circuit technology;
• Federal antitrust litigation involving computer software;
• Federal copyright litigation involving peer-to-peer software and technology;
• Federal patent litigation involving RAID technology;
• Federal patent litigation involving commercial graphics and signage technology;
• Federal patent litigation involving computer control technology; and
• Federal patent litigation involving compression and DVD/CD storage technologies.

Mr. Hadley also has experience litigating insurance coverage, malpractice, environmental, construction defect, franchise and royalty disputes.

Prior to joining HBD, Mr. Hadley was with O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Before attending law school, Mr. Hadley also served as an officer on commercial and naval ships, and represented shipping companies before Congress and regulatory agencies.
